It is time to rethink your education and earn your High School Equivalency Diploma (formerly known as the GED). Earning the HSE is the first step to continuing your education in college or post-secondary training and also prepares you for career advancement.
The High School Equivalency Test Contains:
Writing Skills
Part 1: Sentence Structure, Usage, Mechanics, Contexts, Organization
Part 2: Essay
Social Studies
US History, World History, Civics and Government, Geography, Economics
Science
Physical Science, Life Science, Earth and Space Science
Mathematics
Number and Quantity, Algebra, Functions, Geometry, Statistics and Probability
Reading
Comprehension, Analysis, Application, Synthesis
Test Fee – $115.00
Re-Test Fee – $23.00 per section
Students in classes may qualify for financial aid.
Test takers must pre-register and pre-pay for the test in person in the Adult Education office Wednesdays from 9:00AM – 2:00PM
